Mint Chocolate Chip Smoothie

Bananas are my favorite fruit ever. Each week I buy a new batch of them and prep at least 15-20 for the freezer, once they’re ripe of course. The riper the better! 😀
I don’t really share smoothie recipes on here, just because I feel like they’re really basic and I don’t think they’re helpful. So we’ll see if these are liked. I wouldn’t mind sharing more from time to time. Let me know what you think!

I’m hooked on Squarebars – I’m not being paid to say that either. I genuinely LOVE them and as soon as I heard about the mint flavor I was all over it! Blending it up to give you this minty chocolate, blissful tasting drink that’s perfection. I cannot wait to test this out with their new cherry bars too!

Mint Chocolate Smothie

Mint Chocolate Chip Smoothie
(Yields about 2 1/2 cups)

Ingredients:
4 Bananas, frozen
1 1/2 cups Homemade Almond Milk, video tutorial here
1 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder, can sub cacao or carob powder
1 tbsp. Cashew Butter, Rawmio
1 Cocoa Mint Squarebar

Directions:
Start by opening your Squarebar and cutting it into 16ths. So half, each half into quarters and then repeating that in the other direction. Leaving you with 16 perfect squares.
Measure and blend all your ingredients together, using just half the squarebar you cut up.
Pour into a glass and top with extra cashew butter and remaining squarebar pieces. I also added a little granola for texture.
Serve immediately, enjoy!

    This looks divine! Thank you for sharing. I know, there are so many smoothie recipes out there, but please do share your’s. I love rawmio….right out of the jar 🙂

    I haaaate bananas, but can’t do yogurt right now (been pulled off dairy for a while!) so bananas end up being the base for many recipes I can have. Does this one end up tasting super banana-y?

      I’m not sure, I love bananas and eat them daily so I’ve forgotten how they taste in things like this. You can mask the flavor by using less or adding in other fruits that are strong, such as; raspberries, strawberries, blueberries or peaches.
      Dairy isn’t needed to thrive, I highly recommend looking into coconut milk yogurt or soy yogurt as an alternative that’s cruelty-free and much safer to consume.
