When a local company reaches out to you and it’s probably the greatest line of products you’ve tried in a long time – you share a full review, so more people learn about these incredible products!
Malk is a brand based in Houston, Texas. They make non-dairy, plant-based milks that are free of nasty preservatives, chemicals and artificial sweeteners. Basically, if you make your own nut milks at home this is how delicious they should taste. They’re a huge difference from traditional store bought alternatives, containing more ingredients than necessary to prolong shelf-life. However Malk is changing the game and showing everyone how it should be done. Depending on the milk, most contain as little as 3 ingredients – yes three! The Pecan Maple (my personal favorite) has only 5: Filtered Water, Pecans, Maple Syrup, Vanilla & Himalayan Pink Salt. That’s it. Plus, it’s all organic!
I’ve over the moon about these milks. They have made me free less guilty for not having the time to make fresh dairy-free milk at home, we don’t always have the time to and that’s okay. I actually prefer these over the ones I make – it’s nice to know they use a higher concentration of nuts per water ratio too. Did you know most store bought nut-milks have as little as 10% actually nuts per carton?! That’s something I didn’t come to know until earlier this year, it’s shocking. You’re intimately paying for water with chemicals and maybe a handful of actual nuts per half gallon/carton. With Malk you’re not getting any preservatives and I can assure you, each 28 ounce bottle has over double that percentage of nuts included.
I highly recommend giving Malk a try, with their variety of milks available, you’re sure to find the perfect one for you. They even have cold brew coffee blends, in collaboration with another Houston based company, Greenway Coffee. I love supporting brands that are working hard to create something that’s done right. No fillers, no gimmicks – just pure quality and so much love in each bottle!
If you want to find Malk, you need to request it at your local Natural Grocers or Whole Foods. They have more recently released products to Central Markets, if you’re in Texas. Malk is currently only available in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Be sure to speak up and get it in your state asap!
MALK contacted me through Instagram and I’m very happy they did. I keep transparency with my readers/followers so I want you all to know when I’m sent something for review. However, please know that if I take the time to share it – that means I 100% stand by the product(s) and my views fully align with the company I am promoting.5
