Just in time for football season! (Go Packers!) These goodies are a go-to treat for me! Pair them up with my crispy baked fries and you’re good to go! 😀 Try these out and tell me what you think!
Baked Cauliflower Bites
1 head of Cauliflower (small-medium)
1/2 c Garbanzo Bean Flour
1/3 c Water
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder (optional)
1/2 tsp. Onion Powder (optional)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
In a medium bowl, combine water and gb flour with your seasonings
Whisk together till full incorporated, it should be thinner than a pancake batter, but not super watery
Wash and prep your cauliflower by cutting/breaking it into bite-sized florets
On a lightly greased baking sheet, dunk each piece completely and tap off the excess
Give each one at least an inch or so of space to cook
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown, crispy and tender inside
Toss in your preferred sauce and bake another few minutes, or serve hot and dip!
My dipping sauces of choice? Teriyaki, Spicy Agave Mustard and Sriracha Veganaise or you can do any flavor combo and toss up your bites for a “wing” inspired finger food! 😀
Combos for coating; Garlic & Vegan Parmesan Cheese, Frank’s Red Hot, Teriyaki, Agave & Red Pepper Flakes, Earth Balance (vegan butter) & Lemon Pepper or BBQ. Endless combos and totally guilt-free “wings” that are sure to please everyone!
