The perfect way to start your day. I love prepping this the night before and enjoying this over ice when I need a quick boost of energy. This tea is so hydrating and satisfying, I hope you all try it out!
Coconut Chia Green Tea
(Yields 1 Quart)
1 Quart Sized Mason Jar
1 Quart Filtered Water, boiling
4 Green Tea Bags
1/4 cup Terrasoul Black Chia Seeds
1 tbsp Terrasoul Coconut Palm Sugar, adjust to your preference
Agave, optional (as needed)
Bring a quart of filtered water to a boil.
Pour in a quart-sized mason jar with 4 green tea bags. Let steep 3-5 minutes.
Measure and pour chia seeds and coconut sugar into your tea. Mix 1 minute, till evenly combined.
Let your tea cool to room temperature. Cover mason jar with a lid and shake before letting it chill overnight in the fridge.
Shake and pour over ice, or drink warm after chia seeds have fully expanded (at least 20-30 minutes).
Whether you drink this warm or cold it’s the perfect way to not only hydrate but refuel and aid your body in so many ways. I’ve been starting each day with this drink and noticed a huge different in my overall digestion as well as energy throughout the day. I recommend trying this out if you too struggle with feeling lethargic the majority of the time. This might be the holistic boost you needed!
