The magic that is coconut bacon. I originally shared this recipe over on my Loaded Potato Wedges post, but a lot of you had a hard time finding it so I wanted to make it easy and just reshoot it so it can be its own post. If that makes any sense at all, I said “it” a hundred times…
I haven’t changed this recipe at all, I think it’s perfect as is and I’m obsessed with making this in small batches for my baked potatoes, salads and/or a sneaky recipe that’s going up in a couple days (hint: game day food)!

I can’t wait to try this. I’m adding this to my Sunday dinner for Twice Baked Potato Soup. Yum!
Yay! That’s an absolutely perfect idea for using this! You’ll have to let me know how it turns out 😀
crispy coconut shavings are absolute delicious, the after taste lingers in your mouth for a while. it’s just making my mouth water.
What if your liquid aminos don’t spray? Do you know how much to use of the liquid aminos then? Sounds delish! I can’t wait to make them.
Great question – It’s roughly 1 tbsp of Liquid Aminos, I adjusted the recipe to include that. Thanks, hope you enjoy!
These sound great-how do you store them and for how long?
Thanks, I store them in an air-tight container. They will usually last 1 week on the counter, up to two if stored in the fridge.
How do you store them so they stay crisp? I would want to make enough for several different meals if I could. Thanks,
In an air-tight container, left at room temperature. You can also place it in the fridge to prolong it, about 1-2 weeks.
