I’ve been really tired, lacking energy and just overall sore lately. A lot is going on in my life right now but I’m trying to stay focused and keep going. So to keep me fueled and replenish my body this has been my go to combo.
I know a lot of you might be like, another green smoothie recipe? but just hear me out. It’s easy to forget about you and miss out on nutrients because life gets stressful or you’re busy taking care of others. Sometimes we need to just chug a super detoxifying smoothie/juice and get it together. I really think this combo has helped me out, you guys know I swear by turmeric for it’s anti-inflammatory properties. It’s just too amazing not to consume as much as possible. I’ll be sharing more on turmeric in the future, stay tuned for that!
Sidenote: I apologize for the lack of posts lately. My husband and I just bought our first home and I’m currently renovating the kitchen. As soon as I get that done you can expect newer content and a new setting! Let me know if you’re interested in my home renovation. I might share more on that process in the future.
Anti-Inflammatory Green Smoothie
Yield 1 quart
- 3 cups Spinach, lightly packed
- 2 cups Mango, frozen
- 16 oz. Coconut Water
- 1/2 Lemon, juiced
- 1/2 Lime, juiced
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Measure and blend till smooth, adjust the consistency with more coconut water and/or sweetness by adding pitted dates.
- Serve immediately in a quart mason jar with a wedge of lemon and dash of turmeric (optional), enjoy!
This is a thick-shake consistency.
