So close to a year and I still can’t believe it! This time has truly flown by, such a rush of emotions.
Cutting to the chase, I haven’t actually lost much more weight. It’s been a slow process. I haven’t been hitting the gym like I use to and I’m basically skipping workouts. So I can tell you that not working out makes a huge difference, in a bad way. Even just an hour every other day I managed a 1-2 pound loss a week. Now I’ve averaging 3 a month :/ but as I shared on Instagram, progress is progress. I’m happy maintaining/losing rather than gaining/losing progress. So if you’re struggling too, I feel ya!
This holiday season is fast approaching and we all know what that means… FOOD! and tons of it! haha so we gotta get it together and stay focused. Now I’m definitely indulging for the holidays, I just need to be smart and plan out my time to exercise. It’s all about moderation and cardio. You don’t need to spend everyday busting it at the gym, but a solid 20-30 minutes of cardio a day or an hour every other is the key to success! I firmly believe in diet being a huge factor, abs are made in the kitchen, but fitness is a solid 30% and without it you’re not reaching that optimal/peak level of balance to really push your body forward.
So enough rambling, you get my point. I’m happy with my progress and the second half of my weight loss is truly going to be difficult for me. But I have the drive to make it happen. I’m not going to give up on my goals, no matter how long they may take to reach. I urge you to do the same. I’m always here if you’re feeling low and needing a boost. We all have those days/moments. But what sets you apart is choosing to get back up and keep trying. You can do it! 😀 We can do it<3
